Description
Vakkerlight · Cast Resin Wall Series
Verella Cast Resin Wall Sconce
A solid block of cast resin — recessed at the center to a thinner panel where the integrated LED can shine through, rounded at the edges into a smooth pillow form that holds the texture of the casting mold. Two slim metal clips secure it to the wall, top and bottom, leaving the resin floating between them. When the LED is on, the recessed center glows from within: a vertical column of warm light pushing through the textured surface, diffused but unmistakable. The 20.5 × 31.5 cm scale fits either side of a mirror, a single statement wall, or a sequence along a hallway. Available in six colorways — two resin tones paired with brushed nickel, two with gunmetal, and two with brushed brass.
At a glance
Cast Resin Plaque
Solid hand-cast block — ~5 kg of resin per piece, surface texture left as it came out of the mold.
Lit Inner Field
The center is recessed and translucent — the integrated LED glows through a softer, thinner section of the resin.
Six Colorways
Six resin tones — blue, green, gray, orange, tea, amber — each paired with one of three metal finishes.
Cast resin — not natural stone or glass
The plaque is solid hand-cast resin. The textured surface, color depth, and translucency are all engineered into the casting process. This is the correct material for the look — natural alabaster cannot be tinted into colors like blue or green, and glass cannot be cast with this kind of raw textured face. It is heavier and warmer-feeling than acrylic, but it is resin, not stone.
Lamp Body: Available in Matte Sand Gold, Black Antique Bronze, Natural Copper, and Satin Nickel.
Hardwired — connects to standard junction box
The Verella mounts to a standard US wall junction box and wires into your home’s 110–240V supply. We recommend a licensed electrician for installation; estimate 20–30 minutes per fixture for an experienced installer.
Six colorways
Blue
Cool blue resin with warm brass hardware — the highest-contrast pairing of the six.
Green
Translucent green resin with darker gunmetal hardware — the most architectural of the six.
Gray
Neutral gray resin with gunmetal hardware — reads as a single dark object during the day.
Orange
Saturated orange resin with warm brass hardware — the boldest of the six, best as a single statement piece.
Tea
Smoky tea-brown resin with cool nickel hardware — warm resin against cool metal, balanced and easy to place.
Amber
Warm amber resin with cool nickel hardware — the most classic combination, suits transitional and modern rooms.
Light
3000K Warm White · 14W Integrated LED
The LED is built in behind the recessed center field and is not user-replaceable. 14W of warm white at 3000K — calibrated to flatter the warm resin tones (orange, tea, amber) and to keep the cooler tones (blue, green, gray) from going clinical.

Installation
- Hardwired install. Mounts to a standard US wall junction box; licensed electrician recommended.
- Turn off power at the breaker before opening the existing junction box. Verify with a voltage tester.
- Connect black to black (line), white to white (neutral), and ground to the green or bare copper wire from the box.
- The fixture weighs 5.35 kg / 11.8 lb. Use the supplied hardware into a junction box anchored to a stud or rated for fixture weight; do not mount into drywall alone.
- For indoor use only. Not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor, or other damp locations.

Frequently asked
Is the plaque resin or natural stone? It is hand-cast solid resin. The textured surface, color depth, and translucent center are engineered into the casting — they are not the result of mining a particular stone. We use cast resin specifically because it is the correct material for the look: natural alabaster cannot be made jade green or smoky lilac, and glass cannot hold this kind of raw, mold-textured face. The plaque is heavier and warmer to the touch than acrylic — closer to stone in feel — but it is happens if the LED burns out? The LED is built in behind the resin plaque and is not user-replaceable. Integrated LEDs of this type are typically rated for 25,000–50,000 hours of use. If the LED fails prematurely under normal use, contact us for service and we will arrange a replacement under I need an electrician to install it? Strongly recommended. The Verella is hardwired — it connects to a standard US wall junction box and wires into your home’s electrical supply. The job is straightforward for an experienced electrician (20–30 minutes per fixture) but requires turning off the breaker, verifying the line is dead, and making proper line-neutral-ground connections. If you are not experienced with line-voltage wiring, hire a licensed do I choose between the six colorways? Start with the resin tone — that is the dominant visual element, especially when the lamp is off. The metal hardware is fixed for each color: tea and amber pair with brushed nickel, green and gray pair with gunmetal, blue and orange pair with brushed brass. So once you pick the resin color you also commit to the metal. If you have strong existing metal hardware in the room, match that first and then choose between the two resin colors paired with do I clean the textured resin face? Dust gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth — work across the texture rather than digging into the recesses. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap and water; wring it out almost dry first. Do not use solvents (acetone, alcohol-based cleaners, paint thinner) on the resin face — they can dull or etch the the Verella certified for North America and Europe? Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.
