A solid cone of natural yellow travertine carved from a single block, mounted on a matte black iron backplate that sits flush against the wall. A single G9 bulb concealed inside the cone casts warm downlight through the open base, with subtle glow filtering through the natural pits and pores in the stone. At W6.3 × H7.5 in (16 × 19 cm), 6.9 in (17.5 cm) projection from the wall, it suits bedroom nightside lighting, hallway and staircase wall lighting, bathroom vanity, and entryway accent walls in modern, japandi, wabi-sabi, and minimalist interiors.

About Natural Travertine

Each shade is cut from a unique block of natural yellow travertine. Vein patterns, color tone, and surface pits vary piece to piece — these are characteristics of the stone, not defects. The pits and pores are part of how travertine forms and are sealed but left visible.

Soft Pore Glow

When the light is on, you may see warm light glowing through some of the deeper pits in the stone. This is a natural property of travertine, not a crack or seam.

Yes. Every shade is cut from a unique block of natural travertine, so vein pattern, color tone, and pore distribution will differ from the product photos. This variation is the defining quality of natural stone — no two pieces are identical.

What rooms is this sconce suitable for?

Hallways, staircases, entryways, bedroom walls (beside the bed or above nightstands), bathroom vanities, and reading nooks. The warm downlight works well as accent lighting in living rooms and dining areas. Indoor only; suitable for dry and damp rooms but not for outdoor or wet locations.

Does it need an electrician to install?

Yes — this is a hardwired sconce and a licensed electrician is recommended. The iron backplate is compatible with standard US wall junction boxes.

What bulb does it use and is it dimmable?

One G9 bulb, not included. We recommend a 2700K warm-white G9 LED. Dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and a Triac wall dimmer (sold separately).
