The weave texture, panel seam depth, and tonal warmth of the fabric will differ slightly between individual pieces — a natural characteristic of handcraft with textile, not a defect. The linen may show gentle crease marks from packaging which will relax once the lamp is installed and warmed by use.

Compatible with LED and Edison filament bulbs. A warm-white LED at 2700–3000 K is strongly recommended — the warm tone passes through the beige linen weave and up against the wall as a deeply warm, amber-toned wash that defines the Sienna’s character. A globe or candle-tip E26/E27 LED at 4–6W provides comfortable ambient light without overwhelming the intimate scale of the shade. Avoid cool white (5000K+) which reads harsh through natural linen.

Frequently Asked QuestionsDoes the pull chain replace the wall switch, or do I need both?
The Sienna is wired with both options. The vintage pull chain on the shade switches the lamp on and off directly — ideal for bedside use where you don’t want to reach a wall switch. It can also be connected to an external wall switch as the primary control, with the pull chain as a secondary override. Contact your electrician to confirm the preferred wiring configuration for your installation.
The linen shade has crease marks from the packaging. Will they go away?
Yes — natural linen relaxes with gentle warmth. Once installed and the bulb is switched on, the heat from the bulb will gradually ease packing creases over the first few hours of use. Do not use steam, direct iron contact, or heat guns on the shade. If creases persist after a week of use, contact our support team.
Does this sconce direct light upward, downward, or both?
Primarily upward. The Sienna shade is open at the top and closed at the bottom — the majority of light is projected upward and onto the wall behind, creating a broad ambient wash across the upper portion of the wall and ceiling. Some warm light also diffuses through the linen fabric itself, creating a soft glow on the shade’s surface. It is an ambient mood light, not a task or reading light.
Is the Sienna certified for North America and Europe?
Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.
