Lycopene is a carotenoid which gives a number of vegetables their vibrant red colour but is found in its highest quantities in tomatoes. With antioxidant power 3x that of vitamin E, lycopene supports the body in a number of ways such as helping to protect the skin from UV damage.
MICRO-ENCAPSULATED FOR SUPERIOR QUALITY. Due to its chemical structure, lycopene is a highly unstable compound- particularly susceptible to degradation from oxygen exposure. Our micro-encapsulation process limits the amount of oxygen the lycopene comes into contact with, vastly improving nutritional value.
