The LP Support 519CA Open Patella Knee Support supports and stabilises the knee after injury or osteoarthritis, for example in patellofemoral arthrosis. It fixes the knee joint in such a way that the kneecap is prevented from deviating outwards.
The elastic knee bandage made of breathable material gives you significantly more safety during sports, in everyday life or even at work (lightweight and comfortable to wear under the trousers). Thanks to their use, you can finally train pain-free, safely and without fear of injury or cope with a wide range of everyday situations. Because especially thanks to the open patella design and the integrated silicone cushion, unwanted movements are prevented.
The combination of compression and adjustment options makes this brace ideal for stabilising the knee and lasting pain relief – ensures easy application, fitting and increased stability. In addition, due to the nature of the specially antibacterial material, the bandage absorbs moisture (sweat) from the inside and thus keeps the skin dry. At the same time, the resulting heat is stored in the bandage.
Below the kneecap, the bandage can be adjusted by means of a strap so that a targeted pressure on the patellar tendon is adjusted. This pressure exerted by the silicone cushion acts on the patella slide and can thus lead to pain relief. Above the kneecap is also an inelastic strap with which the patella slide can be influenced.
