Description
The Bumper LED Pod Light Kit for the 2018-2023 Jeep JL Wrangler and the 2020-2023 Jeep Gladiator from Diode Dynamics allows you to mount two SS5 LED pods on the factory bumper. These application-specific brackets were CAD-designed to bolt into place using factory mounting points. These auxiliary lamps deliver 9,600 total lumens and have been designed for maximum functionality with patented technology and custom-engineered TIR optics, all in a durable package.
The Stage Series 5″ LED Pods in the White kit feature a selectable backlight with eight different color options, perfect for an extra styling accent or more visibility when you’re not using the main beam. Selecting your backlight color is easy – alternate the power on and off. There’s no complicated programming with a controller! The SS5’s backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing unique accent lighting that you won’t find on other LED pods.
The kit includes an OEM Auxiliary Switch Wiring Harness, which lets you control your lights using the factory-installed aux switch bank. Two switches will be used – one for the main beam and one for the backlight. For those who don’t have the aux switch bank, a Heavy Duty Wiring Harness is also included to mount a switch and connect directly to the battery.
Stage Series beam patterns were designed to shape the output for highly functional and efficient illumination. The combo pattern combines a focused 30° x 20° Driving beam in the middle with Flood optics on the top and bottom to create a full 70° x 30° degree pattern to provide extra light for every situation.
This kit uses high-intensity LED emitters and TIR optics for unmatched focus and overall output with a 6000K cool white color that matches most factory LED lighting. The Sport model uses nine high-intensity LEDs for 40W of total power. See the specifications for more information.
Stage Series LED lighting has been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40° to 185° F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing. These tests are completed to SAE standards, just like factory components. Racers and enthusiasts have also put them to the test on-road.
