Description
Apivar is indicated for the prevention and treatment of Varroa (Varroa Jacobsoni or Varroa destructor). Apivar is a non-prescription medical-veterinary product.
Its active ingredient has insecticidal and acaricidal activity by contact. Inhibits neuronal transmission causing neurotoxicity. The parasite is paralyzed and is naturally eliminated by gravity in the environment. Apivar is therefore indicated for the prevention and treatment of bee varroasis (Varroa Jacobsoni or Varroa destructor).
Use 2 strips of Apivar per beehive. Separate the double strip and arrange each strip between two movable frames, keeping at least a distance of two frames between strips. Suspend the treatment of the product in the breeding chamber so that the bees can transfer to both sides of the strip. Leave strips in the hive for at least 42 days and remove for disposal.
