It is suitable for indoor or outdoor use with incandescent bulbs up to 100 watts (not included). This ceiling mount lamp and guard comes with all stainless steel hardware, and its high-temperature silicone gaskets provide protection from weather. It is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed as suitable for use in wet locations and in dwellings, and it meets UL standard 1598 for non-hazardous locations where the lamp, socket, and wiring require protection from rain, corrosive fumes, non-combustible dusts, moisture, and non-explosive vapors and gases.
